After an early breakfast today, we embark on a journey to Zimbabwe's biggest National park- Hwange National Park. Hwange National Park is in west Zimbabwe. Its grasslands and mopane woods are home to large elephant herds, lions and African wild dogs. In the northwest, animals gather at Mandavu and Masuma dams, where there are concealed lookouts. Bumbusi National Monument includes 18th-century ruins and pre-colonial rock carvings. In the southeast, waterholes include the Nyamandhlovu Pan, with its elevated viewing platform

After an early breakfast, we bid farewell to the biggest National Park of Zimbabwe to Matopos National Park in search for the rhinos.

This morning, you will begin you trip to Masvingo – the home of the ‘Great Zimbabwe Monument’. It is about a 6 to 7 hour trip without any stops. After this you will push on to Lodge at the Ancient City where we will spend the one night.

This afternoon, we will continue our discoveries at a Great Zimbabwe National Monuments. Zimbabwe meaning big house made of stone – derived its name from the massive stonewalls found at Great Zimbabwe. Historians and archaeologists are still excited about this place. The ruins are surrounded by unanswered questions: Who built them? Where are the graves of the deceased leaders? Why was it abandoned? We advise you to take at least 2 to 3 hours for your visit, guided by one of the excellent local guides.

After breakfast we head off to Vumba Mountains. Resting on the Zimbabwe-Mozambique border, 30km km south east of Mutare, the spectacular Bvumba or Vumba Mountains rise to an impressive 1911m peak at Castle Beacon. The year-round abundance of exotic flora and fauna make Bvumba an ideal destination for nature lovers seeking the rarest bird and butterfly species in the region as well as endangered samango monkey and even the elusive mountain leopard. Spend your days hiking Bvumba’s picturesque hillsides, verdant natural forests, and breathtaking landscapes where you will discover a botanical treasure trove of unique African bird, animal and plant life. Don’t miss the Bunga Forest Botanical Reserve and the nearby Bvumba Botanical Garden which is designed around a number of small streams and includes an important cycad collection, with 59 of the 189 known species.

This morning, you will be collected by your Tour Leader and begin your trip to the Nyanga. This is about a 3 – 4 hour drive, not including your time to stop and visit the rock Paintings at Diana’s Vow and Ruins.

After having a look at these 2 sites, you will proceed onto Nyanga and then Honde Valley – you will spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the tranquil surrounds before doing some exploring tomorrow.

Mutarazi Falls Sky Walk and Sky Line, Nyangwe Fort and visit a typical rural setting, where we will walk around with a local guide. Nothing surprises visitors more than walking around villages, meeting the local people who simply do what they always do: work on their small agricultural plots. It is another world, but it is a reality for half of Zimbabwe’s population.

The main cave contains a pool of cobalt blue water, which is popularly called Sleeping Pool or Chirorodziva ("Pool of the Fallen"). Divers have discovered a submarine passage leading from the Bat Cave, a sub-chamber of the Dark Cave to another room known as the Blind Cave. Diving is possible in the caves all year round, with temperatures never beyond the 22 to 24 °C (72 to 75 °F).

This world's largest artificial lake and reservoir by volume lies 1,300 kilometres (810mi) upstream from the Indian Ocean, along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Lake Kariba was filled between 1958 and 1963 following the completion of the Kariba Dam at its northeastern end, flooding the Kariba Gorge on the Zambezi River
